DF83 Gen 2 Kaffeemühle

Description

DF83 Gen 2 — The Professional 83 mm Single-Dose Coffee Grinder with Stability and Power

DF83 Gen 2 builds on the first generation with a sturdier internal construction, 83 mm flat burrs, and a powerful motor for fast, uniform, and repeatable grinding. A built-in plasma generator eliminates static for a clean chute and fewer clumps. Suitable for home use and small specialty coffee bars, especially when seeking high consistency across espresso and filter.

Who is it for?

• Home enthusiasts and small bars looking for speed, stability, and low retention.
• Espresso-focused setups, including light-to-medium roasts, where torque is critical.
• Users planning upgrades – easy swapping of 83 mm burrs (incl. espresso/multi-purpose options).

Low Retention

Low retention means never mixing yesterday's coffee with freshly ground coffee. The result: fresher flavour, stable extraction, and consistent shots/drinks. The single-dose design with bellows helps purge any remaining grounds from the chamber after grinding.

Anti-Static Plasma Generator (Ioniser)

The plasma generator neutralises static electricity right before the exit chute. This means fewer clumps, less mess, and easier distribution into the basket or dosing cup.

Stepless Adjustment

Infinite intermediate settings for fine-tuning according to the beans and brew method. Make micro-adjustments without being restricted by "click" steps.

Burrs and Motor

• 83 mm flat burrs – high productivity, fluffy grounds, and uniform particle size distribution.
• Powerful AC motor (~1400 RPM) – fast grinding and stable torque under load.

Workflow and Maintenance

• Anti-popcorn lid – reduces bean popcorning for consistent feeding.
• Bellows (blow-out) – quickly purges grounds for true low retention.
• Angled design and optimised chamber – fewer dead zones, easier cleaning.
• Simple, reliable mechanics – fewer unnecessary components, fewer points of failure.
• Optimised chamber – fewer dead zones, easier cleaning.
• 58 mm portafilter holder and metal dosing cup – wide compatibility and a clean workflow.

Warranty

• 2-year warranty.
• Standard packaging with protective foam.
